18 A Hard Rain
Frames are ugly. Veils create darkness that collapses aesthetics. The frame is the flesh. The cuticle of the painting- Hammurabi. Hands upon hands frame the god whose particles align to form a plastic deity that bleeds from pearls that act as thorns. Turntables are the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Me, Myself and I. Oh! The millions upon millions slain. Spirals are perpetual and shells are dolls opened up to expose the smell of youth with the hopes of being overtaken by the smell of ozone when the hard rain falls after a long, long drought.
